The Tales Of Princess Mikkimoto

My name is Becky, many in the cyber world know me as Princess Mikkimoto.

This is my son Ben.

For 10 years it was just that kiddo and I against the world, until 2009 when I met and fell in love with this guy

Who will do me the honor of becoming my husband on 3.19.11

Right after I got engaged I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.  It’s a new world for me, full of adventure. And I couldn’t be happier.  Even with my Marshmallow Fluff blood.

This blog chronicles this crazy life of mine as a mom, soon to be wife, daughter, and friend.  While trying to find the funny in it all.

As Henry Ward Beecher once said “A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It’s jolted by every pebble on the road.”

Why Princess Mikkimoto? Well, ask my father. When I was little and being a total spoiled brat (shocking I KNOW!) he would call me “Princess Mikkimoto” in a very sarcastic way. I remember thinking (to myself of course) “You bet your ass I am!” So when I started having to come up with user names for The Internets, the first thing I thought of was Princessmikkimoto and I guess it just stuck all these years.

Hence, “The Tales of Princess Mikkimoto”.
